Players are given a deep system to build their characters physically and mentally with choices at the center. Butchoices have repercussions. Many decisions players make can drastically effect characters and their relationships throughout the story.

2Divinity: Original Sin 2

Larian Studio’sDivinity: Original Sin 2is a must-play choice-based RPG for fans of the genre. While science fiction is replaced with fantasy,its large and sprawling worldsfilled with unique characters more than make up for it. Players can choose from a set of pre-generated heroes who all have their own unique dialogue and story paths. Or players can choose to create their own from scratch. This huge story based RPG also features a turn based combat system that often reminds players of an incredibly fun board game. Larian Studios' installment in the franchise is a perfect beginning for players who want a deeper RPG without sacrificing the story.

The ultimate choice-based game of the last decade isFallout: New Vegas.Considered the greatest Fallout game to date, players are introduced to the strange and exciting new wasteland by receiving a bullet to the head. Upon awakening in the helpful hands of Doc Mitchell, players are left to decide for themselves. This creative and wild entry in the fallout series was also created by Obsidian Studios. With a large wasteland to master and a classic tale of vengeance to follow, its up to the player who they let live and die.
