One such collectible inPaleo Pinesare dreamstones, glowing, pink crystals that also serve a functional purpose as a necessary object for a dinosaur’s sleeping pen. However, they are often well hidden or locked behind secret areas, with severaldreamstones to locate in Dapplewoodalone, one of the game’s explorable maps.

While there aren’t as many to find compared to Veridian Valley, findingall dreamstones in Dapplewoodcan also prove a tricky task with some necessary prep work to obtain them all.

How To Explore More Of Dapplewood In Paleo Pines

Once playersbefriend a styracosaurus inPaleo Pines, they can reachDapplewood, a luscious forest map area northwest of Veridian Valley. While the styracosaurus' smasher ability enables players to explore some parts of Dapplewood, such as the lake area to the southeast, it’s necessary to obtain two more types of dinos to reach more of Dapplewood: astomperdino to break down fallen logs and aslasherdino to clear bushes blocking pathways.

Players mustbefriend a stomper dino, such as anAnkylosaurus,as the first stomper discoverable in the game.The quickest way to befriend an Ankylosaurus is to break the boulders to the southeast of the Veridian Valley map with a Smasher dino.This action won’t unlock the entire desert map yet, but it leads to the Ankylosaurus dinos with the Stomper ability.

After gaining the Ankylosaurus' trust within approximately a few in-game days, players can ride it to unlock more of Dapplewood and access moredreamstone locations. Players can also find some of the firstSlasherdinos in Dapplewood, aKentrosaurusor aTherizinosaurus.

All Dreamstone Locations In Dapplewood

InPaleo Pines, there are 11 dreamstones to find in Dapplewood, divided into six large and five small ones.Players can find all dreamstones as marked on the map above, with large circles representing the location of large dreamstones and small circles depicting the small variety. Most are only accessible using asmasher, stomper, or slasher dinosaur.

Players should also note that they can only access the southeast lake during certain seasons or weather conditions when the lake dries up, such as on dry days in theJurassos season. If players try to explore this area during the game’s first season, Triassea, they’ll notice there’s no way to cross the water to reach the dreamstones. However, returning later during Jurassos allows players to explore and unblock the stones, logs, and bushes preventing access to three dreamstones.
