Weapons are a crucial part ofFallout 76.Players need a decent weapon to take down enemies and survive the harsh post-war landscape of Appalachia. FromRailway Riflesto Switchblades, there are lots of options for players to choose from.

The recent Skyline Valley update not only introduced a whole new region to the game but also brought in a handful of new weapons for players to earn and unlock. These new, unique weapons have encouraged some players to create new builds centered around the new weapons. These weapons are also great for those who are relatively new to the world of Fallout 76, as most of them are fairly easy to obtain.

V63-BERTHA in Fallout 76

V63-BERTHA

A Shockingly Good Weapon

The V63-BERTHA is a variant of the Tesla Rifle. Since it has double the ammo capacity of a regular Tesla Rifle, the Rapid effect is the perfect addition to this weapon. It’s fast, and it does a decent amount of damage, making it a great weapon to use at events like Radiation Rumble and Moonshine Jamboree.

Getting this weapon can be a little time-consuming.This weapon can only be obtained by completing the new event, Dangerous Pastimes. This is a public event. It will happen at random, so there’s no way to activate this event manually. Also, there’s no guarantee of being awarded the V63-BERTHA uponcompleting Dangerous Pastimes. There are a couple of different weapons that players have the chance to receive upon completing the event.

V63 Shock Baton

The only other way to get this weapon is to buy it from another player. Check player vendors or use one of the online trading forums to see if someone is selling one of these guns.

V63 Shock Baton

A Surprisingly Powerful Melee Weapon

Players receive the V63 Shock Baton for completing the Housekeeping For Hire Quest. It’s a fairly straightforward quest that doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to complete. As for the weapon, it can inflict quite a lot of damage onmost types of enemies.

The weapon does regular melee damage as well as electrical damage, making it a pretty good weapon for taking down enemies that don’t have high energy resistances. It can also be modified to inflict extra electrical damage. While it won’t change the meta, this weapon can be pretty useful in certain combat situations.

V63-HELGA in Fallout 76

V63-HELGA

A Big Hitter

The V63-HELGA is a great weapon for those who love heavy weapons. This weapon is one of the possible rewards players can get for completing Neurological Warfare. It is fast-firing, it penetrates armor, and it has a very large ammo capacity.

The lightweight effect is also great, as Gatling Lasers are typically quite heavy to carry around. Overall, this weapon can be used to take down both large groups of enemies and boss enemies. The only downside to this weapon is the ammo cost. It runs onFusion Cores. These can be pretty costly, especially if the player doesn’t have a Fusion Core Recharger at their CAMP.

V63 Zweihander in Fallout 76

V63 Zweihaender

A Fun Two-Handed Weapon

This two-handed weapon isgiven to players after they complete the final main quest in the Skyline Valley Region, The Eye of The Storm. While it is a fairly slow and clunky weapon, it certainly packs a punch. If the legendary prefix was something likeAnti-Armor or Bloodiedinstead of Executioner’s, then this weapon would be almost unstoppable.

Nevertheless, it is still a pretty fun weapon to use. While there aren’t a lot of players who run with a non-automatic two-handed weapon build, it can be a pretty viable weapon for taking down some of the games' easier enemies.

Red Terror in Fallout 76

Red Terror

Another Dangerous Pastimes Reward

The Red Terror is a new Light Machine Gun variant. It is proving to be one of the more popular Skyline Valley weapons. With the right setup, this weapon can be very effective against large groups of enemies. Similar to some of the otherSkyline Valley weapons, players have a chance to be awarded the Red Terror upon completing the Dangerous Pastimes event.

There are two different paint options that players can put on this weapon. There’s the standard Red Terror Paint and a Green Red Terror Paint. As for the effects, the double ammo capacity is what makes this weapon great. Being able to fire 150 bullets before having to reload can really help players out in sticky situations.

Anchorage Ace in Fallout 76

Anchorage Ace

A 10mm Submachine Gun

While the weapon certainly looks cool, it isn’t really anything special. While it’s not a terrible weapon, very few players will find this weapon useful. It’s a 10mm Submachine Gun variant thatplayers have a chance to receive upon completing the new boss battle event, Neurological Warfare.

The legendary effectsaren’t really that useful. This weapon is more of a collector’s piece than a weapon that players will use. There are two paint options that players can put on this gun, the regular Anchorage Ace Paint and an Arctic Paintstyle.

V63-OLGA in Fallout 76

V63-OLGA

A Hard-Hitting Laser Rifle

While its secondary effect could be better, the V63-OLGA is a great Laser Rifle that can be deadly when used alongside the right perks and mods.Players have a chance to receive this weapon upon completing Neurological Warfare.

Since there are lots of modification options for Laser Rifles, the V63-OLGA can be changed to inflict extra damage. Overall, it’s a great weapon to use as it has a decent damage output and minimal recoil. Unfortunately, this weapon is not suited forV.A.T.S. users.

Ticket To Revenge in Fallout 76

Ticket To Revenge

A Killing Machine

Originally, this Railway Rifle variant was supposed to have different effects. It was going to be much more powerful than it is. That said, it is still an incredibly powerful weapon that can take down almost every tanky enemy in the game. Similar to some of the other Skyline Valley weapons, the Ticket To Revenge has double the ammo capacity of a standard Railway Rifle.

Players can get this weapon very easily. It is a guaranteed reward for completing the quest: Seeking Shelter. This quest is one of the early ones in the main Skyline Valley storyline. Seeking Shelter is also a very easy quest that can be completed in around 10 minutes.

Shattered Grounds in Fallout 76

As for the weapon, Railway Rifles typically pack a punch. That said, the main drawback when it comes to Railway Rifles is the low ammo capacity. TheTicket To Revengeholds 20 rounds instead of the standard 10 rounds that the regular Railway Rifle has. While the recoil is pretty strong on this weapon, it is a great weapon to use inside V.A.T.S.

Shattered Grounds

An Interesting Handmade Rifle

Shattered Grounds is a special version of the Handmade Rifle. The weapon is given to players as a reward for completing the quest, Double-Crossed Wires. It’s the second to last quest in themain storyline of Skyline Valley.

While it is a decent weapon, it’s also very niche. Not many players tend to run with a Junkie’s build. That said, it can be a pretty fun weapon to use. It’s fast firing, it causes explosive area damage, and it holds more bullets than a regular Handmade Rifle.
