Ubisoft has revealed everything coming inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s title update 1.3.0, which is set to release on July 27 at 5am PT/7am CT. TheAssassin’s Creed Valhallapatch size will depend on platform, with Xbox One users getting a 17.72 GB update, Xbox Series X/S owners getting a 23.79 GB update, PS4 users getting a 15.3-24.5 GB update depending on region, PS5 getting a 6.85 GB update, and PC users getting a 20.4-32.37 GB update.

The update includes a ton of content, including support for the forthcoming Siege of Paris DLC. Previously, the DLC had leaked as releasing August 5th, butAssassin’s Creed Valhallahas confirmed theSiege of Paris DLC release dateas August 12th. This update only sets the stage for it, meaning players will obviously need to download the DLC when the time comes.

While that may be the most exciting bit of news, there’s still plenty for fans to dive into. It adds the Sigrblot Festival that begins on July 29 and will last through August 19. Festivities and quests related to the festival will add new rewards, including the long-awaitedone-handed sword inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. To participate in the Sigrblot Festival, players must have completed one of the first two narrative arcs and be settlement level 2.

The update also officially addslevel scaling toAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, which can be adjusted from the menu. It does not impact boss encounters and game modes, with the default mode being that lower level enemies are brought up to 30 power levels under the player. Constant means enemies will be the same power level of the player at all times, the Harder option makes them 20 power levels stronger than the player, and Nightmarish will make them 50 power levels over the player. Overall, it’s a rather hefty update aimed at a wide plethora ofAssassin’s Creed Valhallacontent and bug fixes. It’ll be interesting to see the festival and the one-handed weapon in play in just a couple of days, as well as Siege of Paris in just a couple of weeks.
