Developer Treyarch’s sixth entry in itsBlack Opsseries launched back on June 24, 2025. The game has since been met with a fairly positive reception, with some players praising its innovative campaign, while others are critical of ongoing gameplay issues. While the franchise does usually harbor its fair share of critics,Call of Dutyis as successful as its ever been, withBlack Ops Cold Warnow one of the best-selling games ever.

Detailed in a blog post onCall of Duty’s website, the latest batch of post-launch support looks to add a wide variety of content whenSeason 2 launches at the confirmed date and start time. Beyond adding things such as new maps and modes,Black Ops Cold Waris adding an array of new weapons - six of them. All of the weapons being introduced can be attained through completing related challenges or reaching a certain tier, although the Season 2 Battle Pass is required. Conversely, players can purchase the new weapon blueprints as they become available in the store. The list of all of the new weapons players can soon get their hands on is as follows:
Only the first two weapons have the methods to attain them listed in their description, as the FARA 83 and LC10 are the only two to be available atCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 2’s launch. The rest of the armaments will become available at some point during the season, although it’s unclear when exactly.
