It was no surprise thatModern Warfare, a reboot of one of the best-selling games of all-time, attracted the attention of players. Largely the latest title delivered first-person shooting in exciting war zones, but some players did find bugs. The most recent bug found was in the gold regiment tag.

The gold regiment tag was left with a “3” or “3 3” in the tag field, after the last update, and many found it irritating. This has now been fixed and players can go back to enjoying the game. Although there are some players who have insisted on drastic improvements, it is clear that Infinity Ward is constantly working on the game in order to please the most amount of people possible. Furthermore, if rumors are to be believed, a lot more exciting content may be coming toCall of Duty: Modern Warfare.
A Battle Royale mode looks to be coming toCall of Duty, and if the success of the game-mode in other titles is anything to go by this could be a huge hit with fans. The game has a giant audience and using popular trends may well keep players invested for longer. Whether or not Infinity Ward is discussing changes with fans enough is up for debate, but it is clear that they are proactively making changes that benefit players.
Modern Warfarehas had a series of new game modesadded and the amount of players on the title suggests that this is a successful tactic from the developer. It will be interesting to see how the game continues to entice players, but for the moment it looks like Infinity Ward have plenty of ideas and a few tricks up its sleeve.
