WhereCold Wartakes up 95GB on PS4, 133GB on PS5, 93GB on Xbox One, and 136GB on Xbox Series X/S,Call of Duty: Vanguardwill only consume 54.65GB on PS4, 64.13GB on PS5, 56GB on Xbox One, and 61GB on Xbox Series X/S when it releases. BecauseVanguardisn’t graphically inferior compared toCold War, this notable file size difference between the games may illustrate more efforts in compressing files.

Cold Warcurrently has a download bugthat forces some players to download the entirety of the game rather than its most recent update. BecauseCall of Duty Black Ops: Cold Waris already topping 100GB on the new consoles, this results in potentially deleting other stored items and waiting an extended period of time just to play the FPS.
