The Season 4 update brought around several changes to the game, including removing the Riot Shield as a loot box item. Players can only find it through loadout drops at this time, making it arare occurrence among theCall of Duty: Warzonecommunity. While the developers offered no explanation as to why it was removed, they have released a statement stating that it is only a temporary change. It is unknown how many fans will switch to using the Riot Shield in Loadouts as an alternative to finding them on the map.
