Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are eagerly waiting for the studio’s next television seriesSecret Invasion. Even though the first trailer has been released, the plot is shrouded in mystery, and not a lot is known about the fate of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury. Cobie Smulders, who portrays the role of Maria Hill in the MCU, has offered fans some interesting details about the upcoming series, which is bound to build the hype.Fury and Hill’s journeys in theMarvel Cinematic Universehave been long, and sometimes rather confusing.Secret Invasionwill likely fill any gapsin their timeline and offer answers to some burning fan questions about how long Talos and Soren were impersonating the two former S.H.I.E.L.D agents. When speaking toTVLine.com, Smulders revealed that the series “sets [Jackson’s] character up in a really interesting way,” something that she has always wanted to see since he was first introduced in the MCU. As far as her own character is concerned, “it’s the most depth” she has been able to show of Hill.
