WhileMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Moraleshas its own weird shapeshifting bug that turns its protagonist into a brick, a trash can, or even a street light,Cyberpunk 2077has thrown its hat into the ring of strange metamorphosis glitches. A Reddit user has posted their experience of their V turning into a vending machine, which has received more than 11k upvotes as of this time of publication.
Reddit user DefaultDaddy posted a fourteen-second video of the glitch on theCyberpunk 2077subreddit. They crash a motorcycle into a set of vending machines and try to get off, only to be teleported into the vending machine itself. It appears that DefaultDaddy’s V is trapped inside the machine as evidenced by their efforts to slash their way out.

While this seems like a pretty harmless bug that could just be easily solved by reloading a previous save, this vending machine issue is the latest in a long line of reported bugs and glitches. Since the game launched, there have been a series ofgame-breaking bugsexperienced by multiple users across various systems of all specifications.
As for now, this particular bug should be filed into the folder of bugs that are not game-breaking and are merely amusing. A highly humorousNSFW glitchexperienced by users all across the gender spectrum has seen their Vs suffer wardrobe malfunctions while another bug sees all NPCs have a gun on them in the logical conclusion to the Second Amendment. While these bugs are fairly harmless, the overall state of the game has left many users dissatisfied with what has been one of the most hyped video games of all-time.
The release ofCyberpunk 2077has been tarnished by the game coming out in a less-than-perfect technical state, especially on PS4 and Xbox One. Users on those systems have reported low frame rates, texture pop-in, and a general blurry aesthetic. While it is expected that performance across the board will be patched to an acceptable level, many early adopters have begun asking forrefunds with varying results.
The buggy launch ofCyberpunk 2077has had fans clamoring for improvements to the game, taking to social media to voice their displeasure from getting #Cyberbug2077 trending on Twitter to flooding the game’s subreddit with criticisms. CD Projekt Red hastaken full responsibility of the game’s technical issuesand has changed its bonus structure as a result.
Cyberpunk 2077is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions coming in 2021.
