Cyberpunk 2077is filled with secrets, and some of the very best are hidden away areas and locations that only the best chooms have been able to discover. With so much to find and do in Night City and beyond, it’s no surprise that most players would have simply never seen some of the more disturbing sights, or the easter egg locations that can be discovered throughout.

The best areas inCyberpunk 2077are often the ones that players might not have known about, fueling further discoveries and intrigue into the explorative nature of this expansive dystopian place that many call home in Night City.

8Vault 101

Discover the Fate of LARPers Recreating the Story of Fallout

Night City has many secrets, and the outskirts of the Badlands have even more. Venturing deep into the South Badlands, players might be able to discover Bunker 101, which is essentially a live-action-roleplay version of Vault 101 from Bethesda’sFalloutseries. While it’s not nearly as impressive as VaultTec’s vaults, it’s still afun and hiddenarea that many wouldn’t have found.

It’s obscure, out of the way, and hilarious, even if the fate of the two LARPers involved, isn’t. The two bodies that can be found add more to this hidden area, as they are discussing the LARP that they have, and the need to leave Vault 101 to find a hydroprocessor, which is basically a repeat of the originalFalloutstory where a Vault Dweller must leave the safety of their Vault for a water chip to save the other dwellers.

7CD Projekt RED’s Store

Find the Founders of CD Projekt RED Selling References

The EMB Petrochem Stadium isn’tthe friendliest of placesin Dogtown, but it is where players can find all sorts of black market goodies. From undiscovered Iconic guns to the co-founders of CD Projekt RED themselves, the Petrochem has many secrets and hidden areas that players might have easily missed before.

Outside a clothing store, held up in a derelict van, players can find two Polish men speaking to each other. These characters are actually Marcin Iwiński and Michał Kiciński, the two co-founders of CD Projekt Red who will sell references to their works, like The Snitcher, a parody ofThe Witcher. Sadly, these items are just junk in-game, but in reality, they are some of the finest works in the gaming market.

6The Bloody Mannequin Lake

A Disturbing Mass Grave, That Turns Out to be an Abandoned Movie Set

Again, the Badlands is a terrifying and dangerous place, desolate and bloody, and what better example of that than a literal lake polluted with blood and the body of mannequins? While the bodies are thankfully not real, but instead just a hundred mannequins, it’s still a disturbing sight inCyberpunk 2077that will have players wanting to leave the moment they step foot out of their ride to get here.

While it might be a scary sight at first, further discovery will have players find a data shard that they can read, which details the abandoned set of the Hell Lake 3 movie that failed to find funding. So, the producers have just decided to leave this lake in a bloodied and mannequin-filled mess so wanderers like V can find it and be momentarily terrified.

5The Children of the Ark Cult

A Circle of Corpses from a Suicide Cult

A morbid sight (once again) can be found in the Badlands, where players will stumble upon what seems to be a cult. The fact that cults are still a thing in 2077, proves that humanity never really moves forward, and this suicide cult believes in the Technological Singularity that will help them go beyond the Blackwall to survive the wrathful gods of artificial intelligence.

The cults involved here are all dead, and they have decided to take their own lives to board the Ark of Salvation and be spared from the Rogue AIs of the Blackwall. The sight uncovered here is a reminder of thedangers of cults, and the last words of the cult leader are to beckon more followers to join them in death.

4V’s Penthouse

Climb to V’s Secret Mansion Just Outside of Megabuilding H10, Little China, Watson

V’s penthouse from one of the many ending paths inCyberpunk 2077has actually been right under players’ noses this entire time. The penthouse itself is in window’s view of V’s apartment at the Megabuilding H10 Atrium, and players can even visit this area before they claim it as their ownduring The Sun ending.

To do so, players are going to need the Air Dash perk from the Reflexes attribute, and the Fortified Ankles Legs Cyberware to reach new heights, where players are going to scale different buildings and skyscrapers to essentially glitch themselves to the top of V’s penthouse, where inside, they might not find anything, but it’s a fun secret that shows V’s dream of becoming a Night City Legend.

3Adam Smasher’s Hideout

Find Where Adam Smasher Hangs Up His Guns and Chrome

The Ebunike Docks is an important part ofCyberpunk 2077due to V and Rogue’s infiltration of the Maelstrom-infested sight to find Grayson, a man with ties to Adam Smasher, and the man who holds Johnny’s Porscheand Malorian Arms gun. While there’s nothing players can do here right now, returning after defeating Adam Smasher will unlock the access code they need to enter Adam Smasher’s secret room on the boat.

Inside, there’s a wall of guns to find, as well as the Ba Xing Chong Iconic Shotgun, and a readable shard that shows how Adam Smasher isdevoted to the cyberware he has. It’s a scary sight, and players who are exploring here might be on edge out of concern for Adam Smasher’s return, but don’t worry, he’s long gone.

2The Developer Room

The Dev Room That Showcases the Talent BehindCyberpunk 2077

Heading to the far end of Kabuki Market, players can find an abandoned building with shutters locking the contents within. Luckily, with the code605185, players can open the shutters and head inside. While there’s no loot to be had, Johnny Silverhand acknowledges the secret, and V can sit down on the couch to chill out and watch the credits roll.

From the TV, images of the talented developers behindCyberpunk 2077will be shown, all while Johnny strums out some notes on his guitar. It’s a quiet moment in the bustle of Night City and a respectable secret for the developers behind this incredible game.

1Arasaka Tower’s Memorial Site

Ground Zero of Johnny Silverhand’s Terrorist Attack Lies Underneath Arasaka’s Building

In 2023, Johnny Silverhand raided Arasaka Tower in Night City, armed with a small nuclear bomb that wouldsend shockwaves throughout the corpo world. Johnny’s attack left countless dead, and the Arasaka Tower was done and gone. The building was rebuilt, but the remains of Johnny’s actions were immortalised as ground zero, with an Arasaka Memorial building that showed some of the original damage caused by Johnny, as well as those who died in the attack.

The memorial is a reminder that Johnny isn’t exactly a good person, and within the memorial site itself, players can head down into the rubble to find a locked door and enter the code: 2023, which will unlock another dev room that has the names of developers shown on scrolling glass.
