The release ofCyberpunk 2077is within sight and many are excited to see how the game plays and whether it can match expectations. The developer, CD Projekt Red, has a reputation for creating some of the best open-world games, and the setting ofCyberpunk 2077looks to push the size and scope of RPG’s further. As a result, it is one of themost anticipated games of the yearand fans are eager to see more content from the game before its release.

Cyberpunk 2077is set to allow players to explore a huge dystopian open-world with plenty of variety through its different districts. Players can choose a ‘Lifepath’ inCyberpunk 2077which will place them in the streets, a corporate world, or the Badlands. The Badlands look like they take inspiration from theMad Maxfilms and are poor and desolate. The team atCyberpunk 2077has shared an image of the Badlands and it seems that there is more than just rural life to be experienced in the game.

The image was shared by the official twitter account forCyberpunk 2077and it simply stated “Badlands.” The image shows what looks to be a center for rural agriculture with several warehouse/ greenhouse inspired buildings. Above these structures are floating vehicles that shine lights down on to the scene. Interestingly these objects seemingly have images on the side that may be working as a television. The image has caused a lot of excitement and many are keen to find out more about the dark and enigmatic picture that has been shared.

Interestingly Pawel Sasko, who is the lead quest designer for the game, responded with a gif of driving in the game and it seems that internally the team is a fan of the desolate area. Many of the comments discussed thedifferent ‘Lifepaths’ inCyberpunk 2077and while there still seems to be plenty of differing opinions, some members of CD Projekt Red may have already picked their favorite. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see how these images represent the full Nomad experience in the Badlands.

Many will want to know world inCyberpunk 2077and while these images create excitement, it doesn’t offer too much insight into the game and its features. Fans will be keen to hear and see more, but they may have to wait until the release of the game before they have a deeper understanding of the dystopian world.

Cyberpunk 2077launches November 19 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, and later for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The multiplayer game is not expected to launch until 2022.
