Cyno inGenshin Impactearns himself the title of “Electro Razor” thanks to their similar play style. Both characters rely on their Elemental Burst and mostly do Normal Attack damage while having Electro DMG by their side. The two also frequently use their Skill while in their Burst form. However, unlikeRazor who wields aGenshin Impactclaymore, Cyno uses a polearm instead.

The addition of Cyno and Candace successfully brings the number of Polearm characters to a higher sum compared to catalyst and claymore — a great feat, consideringGenshin Impactwas released with only one Polearm user. With the many polearm users, there are also various new weapons for the characters to wield. For Cyno, here are his best weapons inGenshin Impact.
10Missive Windspear
Missive Windspear is a free weapon, so it’s currently one of themost accessible equipment for Cyno inGenshin Impact. Unfortunately, though, like many other free weapons, Missive Windspear falls short when compared to other viable choices.
9White Tassel
Genshin ImpactCyno relies on his Normal Attack, so White Tassel is an amazing choice for him. Although the polearm is 3-star in rarity, the massive 48% DMG boost makes a large difference, especially if players are playing Cyno in an Aggravate team comp.
8Prototype Starglitter
Prototype Starglitter is aforgeable weapon inGenshin Impact, and it’s a great option for Cyno. The General Mahamatra can easily stack up on the weapon’s passive thanks to his Skill’s low cooldown. The gear has an Energy Recharge sub-stat, which is great at helping Cyno recover his Elemental Burst Energy.
7Blackcliff Pole
Blackcliff Pole inGenshin Impactis highly situational, since players should ensure Cyno defeats enemies constantly to activate its passive, but once the stack is full, afully refined Blackcliff Pole with a full-stack can perform as well as an R1 Primordial Jade Winged-Spear. This means, with proper management, Blackcliff Pole is greatly viable for Cyno.
6Kitain Cross Spear
Kitain Cross Spear is also a forgeable weapon inGenshin Impact, and it’s great for Cyno in a lot of ways. First, it has the Elemental Mastery sub-stat, which is amazing if players are using Cyno in an Elemental Reaction team.

Additionally, theweapon’s passive also helps the General Mahamatraregain his Energy.Don’t worry about losing his Elemental Burst after casting his Skill, as players can quickly tap his Burst after pressing the Skill. If done properly, Kitain Cross Spear’s Energy regen effect will trigger without Cyno having to lose Energy.
5Deathmatch
Deathmatch is a generally excellent weapon for damage-dealing characters. For Cyno, even the DEF boost will help him, as he can be squishy while dominating a whopping 18s of field time.
4Staff of Homa
Cyno has both high base ATK and HP, which makes Staff of Homa a brilliant choice for him. TheCritical Damage sub-stat will surely come in handy, especially if players are making an Aggravate team.
3Skyward Spine

Similar toGenshin ImpactXiao, Skyward Spine’s Energy Recharge is also helpful for Cyno. However, unlike the Yaksha, Cyno will also benefit from the Normal ATK SPD buff. Although it seems like he’s dealing Burst damage, Cyno’s Burst’s hits are actually considered Normal Attack damage, and as such, they are affected by Skyward Spine’s passive.
2Primordial Jade Winged-Spear
As a main DPS, it’s easy for Cyno to stack up on Primordial Jade Winged-Spear’s passive. Players can practically maximize it in a few seconds. Afterward, Cyno will continuously be boosted with a 22.4% ATK buff and a 12% all DMG bonus.
1Staff of the Scarlet Sands
Thebest weapon for Cyno inGenshin Impactis none other than the Staff of the Scarlet Sands. This weapon is perfectly catered for Cyno, and players can happily use Elemental Mastery artifacts without any fear of lacking ATK.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
