Bringing back theraid boss Riven for the Season 23story, players will be looking to make a deal with the large wish dragon in order to be given access to The Witness and the portal it made to get inside of The Traveler. As part of every new season, Bungie introduced tons of changes into the sandbox, many of which have been previously revealed through weekly blog updates over the past couple of months. However, with the new season finally here, Bungie has released the full patch notes, giving fans a complete look at all of the new and changed content.

Alongside news on Season of the Wish, Bungie posted the full patch notes for Update 7.3.0 forDestiny 2, and as expected, the list is quite extensive. Nearly every part of the game has been adjusted in some way, including the Crucible, the PvP side ofDestiny 2that many fans have been asking and pleading for meaningful updates to the experience for years. With the introduction of the Crucible Strike Team, a dedicated group set on crafting new content and making needed adjustments, that side ofDestiny 2seems to be in much better hands going forward.
From a gameplay perspective, Bungie has revealed plenty of changes includingmassive updates toDestiny 2’s Stasis subclass, which has felt like the weakest of the bunch for a while now. Numerous exotic items and weapons have been adjusted with the hopes that they’ll now be more viable in various gameplay situations,

For many fans though, the biggest piece of the update may be the increased rewards handed out to players. Ritual playlists, staple activities like Gambit, Crucible, or Nightfalls, have seen the rewards being offered increased across the board with additional glimmer and higher chances for Enhancement Cores.Legend and Master Lost Sectors are also getting increased reward chancesfor solo players, something the community has been requesting for quite a while. Specifically, newly added Forge weapons and Gunsmith Engrams can be obtained for finishing them, with a higher percentage chance given for taking down all champions as well.
