Xur has returned again toDestiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. Following theWorld First Root of Nightmares raid racelast weekend, things have calmed down a bit inside ofDestiny 2, as Bungie seemingly turns its attention to fixing the remaining issues that fans have found with the Lightfall expansion as well as the Season of Defiance.
A new Hot fix launched this week, restoring many of the disabled exotic items, improving Terminal Overload matchmaking for those on Neomuna, as well as tweaking Guardian Ranks and Commendations. However, to the delight of many, Bungie has also taken the opportunity toincrease the drop rate of exotic items when playing Legend and Master Lost Sectors solo. While they’re still intended to be a rare drop, the increased odds should help to make the grind a little bit more tolerable for players.

For those looking for guaranteed exotics, the weekend merchant Xur has made a return to the world ofDestiny 2. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he’s brought for the weekend of June 10, 2025.
Where is Xur?
This weekend, players can find Xur in the European Dead Zone in the Winding Cove zone.
Fast travel to the Winding Cove zone and immediately head towards the back where the Fallen typically patrol. Climb the cliffs back here to find Xur standing on a ledge not too far from a crashed ship.

Class Armor and Exotic Cipher
Xur’s role continues to offer the usual weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cipher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clan mates or finishing more challenging activities.
Xur continues to sell even more gear outside his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer.

Exotic Armor
Geomag Stabilizers - Warlock leg armor
The Geomag Stabilizers could be a Chaos Reach Warlock’s best friend thanks to its perk called Close Enough. Damaging an enemy with Chaos Reach extends the super’s duration, giving the player more time to wipe enemies away.

The roll is incredibly high this week which is normally a good thing, but unfortunately, the bulk of that is locked in Mobility which isn’t a desirable stat for Warlocks. Still, it may be worth picking up for the stats in general, which should go a long way towards a stronger overall build.
Stat Values (67 Total):
Lucky Raspberry - Hunter chest armor
An original Destiny 2 exotic is back with Xur this weekend. This item specifically targets arc-bolt users, so they can be safely ignored for everyone else. Through the Probability Matrix perk, Arc Bolt grenades have increased chaining capabilities and also have a chance to recharge each time it deals damage. A full chain always recharges.

While this item wasn’t normally considered high tier, the roll this week is abnormally high with solid stats all around outside of Strength. It has also been enhanced recently by the Arc 3.0 rework, and can be fun to mess around with, so it’s a solid pickup this week.
Stat Values (68 Total):
Crest of Alpha Lupi - Titan chest armor
A rarely seen Titan exotic with Xur has finally come back. This Titan armor comes with with the Survival Well perk. Essentially, when Barricade is active, the armor will generate 1 additional Orb of Light from supers as well as a healing pulse.

This is more of a defensive/support item, so it has more value when tackling challenging content thanks to its healing pulse and orb generation abilities. When low on health, the Titan can put up a barricade for protection which then procs a healing burst to instantly gain health back. This gear is viable in all aspects ofDestiny 2, though it really shines in activities like The Ordeal, Dungeons, and even Master andGrandmaster difficulty content.
Stat Values (64 total):
Exotic Weapon
A few weeks later and the Lord of Wolves exotic shotgun has returned. Not much has changed since the last time it was available, remaining a strong close quarters weapon and is worth a look for those who don’t yet have it.
Its Intrinsic perk is called Shrapnel Launcher which causes the gun to fire a powerful short-range burst of solar damage. However, its trait called Release the Wolves is what really enhances this weapon’s potency. Players that hold the reload button can swap to a longer, more powerful burst.

Additional perks:
Since Season 16 removed the Presage and Harbinger exotic missions,Xur is also selling both Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale with randomized rolls. Players should visit him each weekend as he’ll be carrying different rolls.
