While it could be that EA and BioWare intend to do some form of solo marketing forDragon Age: Dreadwolf(and very well still could), it stands to reason that such a big game deserves a big stage. There’s hardly any bigger than Geoff Keighley’s shows, who also just confirmed that Summer Game Fest will take place on June 7 this year. The smart money is onDragon Age: Dreadwolfbeing one of the games there, at least with some of its summer plans.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Will Have a Busy Summer
Fans have been waiting onDragon Age: Dreadwolfinformation for quite some time, a side effect of its development cycle. Now, rumors suggest thatDragon Age: Dreadwolfcould be released in late 2024, if not slipping into early next year. While that remains to be seen, the fact is that more information is coming this summer, which is the first time in this game’s history that fans have gotten such confirmation.
On Dragon Age Day (December 4), BioWare confirmed that a full reveal ofDragon Age: Dreadwolfwas coming in Summer 2024. The trailer and blog post confirmedthree new locations forDragon Age: Dreadwolf: The Anderfels, Rivain, and Antiva, alongside the already confirmed Tevinter. It also seemingly teased some new characters and story developments, as all fans really know is that Solas is planning to tear down the Veil, and that’s going to have huge repercussions if he’s successful. Either way, fans will know more this summer, with this full reveal confirming new trailers (plural), gameplay, and a confirmation of its release date. That’s a lot for one trailer at the show, but it could be that it kicks off on June 7 and continues throughout the summer and into the fall, especially if the release date rumors are true.

BioWare Has a Great Relationship with Keighley Events
If there is something gaming-related for the summer, it’s easy to tie it to Summer Game Fest; if there’s something for December or late in the year, The Game Awards are a good bet. However, BioWare’s history adds to the chances of the game appearing atSummer Game Fest. Despite being far from release, both its in-developmentDragon AgeandMass Effectgames have appeared at The Game Awards.
Three appearances with an absence of three years may not be much, but given how early each game was in development, it’s still noteworthy. Combining this with the timing of theDragon Agereveal, it seems like a safe bet. Fans should still keep their expectations in check and take this speculation with a grain of salt, but June 7 could be the day many have been waiting for.
