Theseven companions ofDragon Age: The Veilguardall have ties to a different faction that operates in northern Thedas. According to the developers, the same is true for Rook, who will be able to belong to one of six factions – seemingly regardless of their race or class. Rook can be a human, elf, dwarf, or qunari protagonist, and players will be able to further personalize their story by making them a Grey Warden, Antivan Crow, or Shadow Dragon. The information was shared by GravielMN on the mainDragon Agesubreddit, where fans were quick to point out that Rook’s origins align with the factions of the companions (with the sole exception of Harding).
