He has even earned a spot among the Oracion Seis Galactica, a loose association of powerful criminals and space pirates. While his inexplicable power is a major driving factor behind his criminal empire, Drakken Joe’s actual infamy lies in his mysterious permeance that predates even the oldest of characters in the series.

Criminal Overlord Drakken Joe
Drakken Joe’s criminal roots go far and wide, as his presence can be felt on several planets throughout the Sakura Cosmos. From Norma to Guilst, Drakken Joe has had dealings in many planets and their respective criminal underworlds. He was able to form a criminal empire of his own and become the CEO, taking charge of a massive syndicate of criminals. Planet Guilts' corruption and lawlessness can also be credited to Drakken’s activities as he purposely turned the once-beautiful Guilst into a place infested with crime.
After Guilst lost its time to the Chronophage, Drakken Joe took off on a section of the planet known as Belial Gore,turning it into a spaceshipthat now serves as his personal planet. Belial Gore is another one of his crime-ridden projects as the population of this spaceship mostly comprises all of Drakken Joe’s debtors.
WhileDrakken Joe is infamousfor his cruel and greedy disposition, he has a fundamental principle of refraining from killing human beings. This principle may seem rooted in compassion, yet it’s actually driven by his greed for money and power. He believes that killing people is a waste of potential as they can be forced to make money, eventually feeding his empire’s vast riches.
Drakken Joe’s Immortality
Drakken Joe has a mysterious and ominous aura, though this can be attributed tohis seemingly eternal life. He is rumored to be more than two hundred years old, prolonging his life through mysterious means. Several names such as ‘Undead Joe’ and ‘DJ Zombie’ became associated with Drakken due to his permanence. However, the means of his unnatural lifespan remained unknown for the most part, eventually being uncovered by the Edens Zero crew.
Many assumed that Drakken Joe’s eternal life was the result of hisEther Gear power Dark Alchemy, and while that may be true to some extent, the actual secret lied somewhere else. With the help of a Life Support Device, Drakken Joe was able to absorb the life force of those around him, shortening their lifespans to feed his own. The energy absorbed by the machine rejuvenated Drakken’s body and powers, in-turn keeping his appearance youthful and his powers at maximum capacity.
Despite extending his lifespan to more than two hundred years, Drakken Joe still remains obsessed with immortality and prolonging his life. His obsession is what led him to go afterRebecca’s Cat Leaper power, as he wished to go back in time and replenish his vitality and appearance.
Ether Gear Alchemist
Drakken Joe’s Ether Gear is rather unique, granting him the power to reconfigure the elemental properties of objects. The power of his alchemy knows no bounds as he can convert his own body into any material he may desire, similarly turning his opponents into stone at will. This makes defeating him nigh impossible as he can counter almost every attack by hardening his body.

Drakken Joe is also the first character in the series to be witnessed using thetrue form of Overdrive, which, according to him, can only be achieved by pushing one’s body to critical limits. The physical effects of his Overdrive are quite apparent as his body transforms into a more crystalline form, with Ether lines visibly running through his entire body. His overall appearance takes a more demonic form, representing his corrupt nature and ghoulish powers.
Allegiance With Oracion Seis Galactica
Drakken Joe is one of the members of the Oracion Seis Galactica, a group of notorious criminals that boast several criminal rings throughout the Sakura Cosmos. Every single member of this organization is extremely powerful, with only a few that could rival their strength.
The organization, however, is simply a loose association as none of the members have any sort of direct dealings or associations with one another. Simply being a part of such an organization stands as a testament to Drakken Joe’s standingamong the Sakura Cosmos’criminal underworld.
