As each season ofApex Legendsdraws to a close, Respawn Entertainment starts teasing players with a new season. In the past, teasers were done in-game as well as through different forms of media - usually via the game’s various social media channels. Whatever form the teasers take, however,Apex Legendsdefinitely gets the job done when players get hyped for the next few months of content.
After another successful campaign,Apex Legendsis on the cusp of its 15th season. After months of drip-fed puzzles via social media, the game finally has its first in-game teaser for an upcoming new map.New battle royale locations are big events inApex Legends, and it will be great to see where the next season takes the game’s many characters.

The First In-Game Teaser
Upon booting up a Trios or Duos match inApex Legends, players will notice a new Golden Ticket itemavailable at the many Replicatorsstrewn throughout the game’s maps. In order to get the Golden Ticket, they must first collect 125 crafting materials. This can be done by opening supply bins or extracting materials from Material Harvesters. Doing the latter nets materials for everyone in the squad, so the fastest way to get the required amount of materials is to drop on one of the points of interest that have a Replicator and Material Harvesters spawn on them. Players won’t have enough crafting materials just by visiting one location, however, so they must carefully make their way to another location that has Material Harvesters and extract the crafting metals within them.
Once they have 125 crafting materials, gamers can interact with a Replicator and craft the Golden Ticket located at the top of the crafting wheel. Unlike the rest of the items found inApex Legends, the Golden Ticket takes up no space in players' inventories. As an added bonus for scrounging a ludicrous amount of crafting materials, players that craft the Golden Ticket will also be rewarded with a random fully kitted weapon that provides an advantage to their arsenal. In this regard, it would be better to stay away from crafting the Golden Ticket until the very last day it is available to make full use of the fully kitted weapon mechanic.
What Does The Golden Ticket Do?
The Golden Ticket doesn’t unlock anything on any ofApex Legends' existing maps, so it would be futile to search every nook and cranny. What it provides instead is access to an upcoming event titled “A New Home,” which can be found on the upper-right hand of the main in-game lobby. The event will be available next Tuesday and will supposedly tease the upcoming moon map that will make its debut inApex Legends' 15th season.
Various teases by Respawn Entertainment, along with a few leaks, have suggested that the next map forApex Legendswill be onBoreas, the home planet of the legend Seer. After a meteor struck the planet’s moon, Boreas became plagued with multiple disasters such as meteor showers, rapid sudden changes in temperature, and unpredictable shifts in the tides. The state of Boreas is slowly making the planet uninhabitable, providing the perfect place to host the Apex Games.
Only time will tell ifthe rumors about Boreasbeing the nextApex Legendsmap are true. The game has yet to receive its yearly new map addition, and the prospect of visiting a deteriorating planet makes for some interesting battleground opportunities. Players won’t want to miss the opportunity to grab their Golden Tickets, because it seems that only those who do will get a front-row seat to the show.
