What is not false, however, is thatFall Guyshas really taken off. A cute and wholesome battle royale about amorphous blob-beings in a Wipeout style game show, it is easy to play, watch, and enjoy. In fact,Fall Guysis so popular, and becoming more popular as players stream it, that many companies want to get in on the action.

Multiple corporations have been pitching skin tie-in ideas forFall Guys. The blob-like participants inFall Guysare so easy to design skins/clothing for that everyone wants to advertise with them. So far however, the only skins released have been video game tie-ins. The most recent one revealed was given as an exclusive to thestatistically bestFall Guysplayer, at least at the moment. That player revealed himself to be streamer DrLupo, and he revealed that the skin was P-Body fromPortal 2. As of today, the skin is available for anyone to buy from theFall Guysstore.
This is in keeping with the way thatFall Guyshas handled referential costumes so far. All of theFall Guystie-in skins have been from Valve games, and thoseValve costumes were recently brought to PS4. SoFall Guysseems to be rolling out its tie-ins to more players slowly. P-Body is by far the most transformative costume, covering the character wearing it completely. No other costume has hidden or changed the face before, and it is unlikely many will in the future, since the Falling Competitors are so adorable.
As for future skins, it seems at least a few will be tied in with corporate logoes. Mediatonic, the company behindFall Guys, has offered a skin to whoever donates the most to the non-profit Special Effect. This has created awholesomeFall Guysbidding war, with an in-game skin as the prize. Needless to say the competition is fierce.
It’s obvious why every company, whether tied to video games or not, wants a place inFall Guys. With how big Battle Royale games have gotten, and how bigFall Guysin particular is getting, it’s a great chance to advertise. In a game whereover 300 people have done the impossible, there’s a lot of room to be seen. But for now, the newest skin is P-Body, and it looks pretty good.
