OneFallout 4player stumbled across some unique trees in their playthrough that bleed when attacked.

Reddit user 420danger_noodle420 recently shared a clip of theirFallout 4adventure. The video begins with the player shooting a tree with their revolver which unexpectedly draws blood from the wood. They then fire at ten more trees in a notably greener Boston to check if they all have the same response. Moving from one tree to another, the Reddit user’s video shows that each one bleeds when shot. The clip concludes with the player facing aFallout 4settlement, indicating that trees near the Starlight Drive-in may be different from those elsewhere on the map.
The video ends before VATS is activated to see if the player was able to target different parts of the tree as they can withFallout 4enemies. According to 420danger_noodle420, they left the area with the trees and returned, but weren’t able to replicate the experience. Because they couldn’t repeat it, the clip may portray one of the bugs that can impactFallout 4trees or a mod. The player stated that the Healthier Commonwealth mod has been enabled, but it isn’t expected to feature bleeding trees. ManyFalloutenthusiasts compared these Boston trees to Harold from previous titles. Harold was a tree-like mutant in multipleFalloutgames that tasked players with spreading seeds around the wasteland to regrow it.
Though the Bloody MessFallout 4perkand its upgrades can make defeated enemies more gorey, it isn’t supposed to impact the foliage. Because the trees reacting to the player’s shots were part of aFallout 4mod, there may be a bug associated with Healthier Commonwealth. Given that mostFallout 4trees are part of the game’s environmental design, other players may not easily replicate 420danger_noodle420’s bleeding trees.
