It’s been a while since the update was released, but the developers has not patched it yet. “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” is the final side quest inFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and this bug makes it impossible for some users to get the Platinum trophy, as completing the mission is a part of the requirements for the “My Job Here is Done” achievement.
Thankfully, players have come up with a workaround to fix it, although there is a catch. For players who own the physical version, the process involves deletingFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthand installing the base version from the disc. After disabling auto-updates, players should then load their save file and beat the high score again. However considering that there is no way to revert an update for digital plauers, this doesn’t work for a large portion of the fan base.
