How To Complete Blacksmith’s Blues 2 In Final Fantasy 16
Upon accepting the side quest, Clive should leave his chambers and turn left intoThe Black Hammer, whereBlackthornecan be seen hammering away on his anvil. Interacting with him, he will tell Clive that he recently saw a blade that made him question his skills. Once the conversation ends, Clive can backtrack to theMain Decktospeak to Charon, who will tell the protagonist that she sold the blade in question to a man named Lord Ignac.
To find Lord Ignac, Clive mustfast-travel to The Dalimil Inn, just southwest of The Hideaway, enter the tavern on the right, andproceed up the stairs, where a cutscene will play. According to Lord Ignac’s companion, the blade Clive is searching for has been stolen by a group of bandits.

To get the blade back, Clive must leave The Dalimil Inn throughThe North Gateandtravel northeastuntil he reaches the top right-hand corner of the map.
If Clive has completed The White-Winged Wonder side quest, he can reach this area much faster bysummoning and mounting his Chocobo.

When Clive arrives in this sandy corner, he will be attacked bythree Level 30 Bedmakersand a tougher enemy known asThe Innkeeper, who is also Level 30. The Bedmakers tend to rely on projectile attacks, so Clive should focus on bringing them down first. Most of The Innkeeper’s attacks are slow and easy to predict, so unless Clive is underleveled, he should be able to defeat him with relative ease.
