In an interview with Game Informer, director Naoki Hamaguchi has confirmed thatFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthwill take up 150 GB of space, reminding players that it will be available on two discs. The two discs ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthcontain 100 GB and 50 GB of data, but fans will only need to insert one disc to play the game. The interview makes note of the PS5’s architecture as the reason, stating that unlike the originalFinal Fantasy 7, gamers will not need to swap discs after it’s done installing.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirthwas confirmed to be on two discsat the end of its Summer Game Fest trailer, and it seems like fans are pretty excited about it being such a large game.
