This weekend marks the return of the Super Bowl, the final game of the National Football League’s post-season.Fortniteis getting into the spirit of the NFL’s championship game by bringing back one of its best outfits. Epic Games has now confirmed that the high-value NFL outfit is back inFortnite’s Item Shop starting today. The outfit will supposedly remain available through the Super Bowl, then it will go back in the vault for an undefined period of time.
TheFortniteNFL outfit is something special, even compared to many ofFortnite’s most popular skins. What’s special about theFortniteNFL skin is that it’s also a skin for every single NFL team.Fortniteplayers can make a single purchase and then wear any of the NFL’s 32 different teams. Players can choose between Super Bowl contenders the 49ers or the Chiefs, or they can choose from any of the league’s already-eliminated teams.

Fortniteis also holding several in-game festivities to celebrate its partnership with the NFL. Also starting today,Fortniteplayers can play a special themed Team Rumble where players join either the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs. Team Rumble is a 40-player match split into two teams, with the first to reach 100 eliminations winning. The Super Bowl-themed Team Rumble will last throughSuper Bowl Sundayon February 2.
Epic Games is also partnering with Twitch for a specialFortniteTwitch Rivals event named the “Streamer Bowl.” 16 different streamers will be partnering with a professional NFL player to form Duos. For example, Dr. Lupo is partnering with Keenan Allen from the Los Angeles Chargers andTfueis partnering with the Arizona Cardinals' Kyler Murray. The Duos teams will compete for a prize pool of $500,000, all for charity.
You don’t have to be a fan of the NFL and you don’t have to watch the Super Bowl to enjoyFortnite’s event. At the very least, the weekend’s festivities will be a nice change of pace. For NFL fans, it’ll be something much more enjoyable, of course. There’s nothing like wearing the outfit of your favorite NFL team and eliminating an opponent wearing the jersey of your team’s biggest rivals. Just think about how many teams will be eliminating the Patriots this weekend.
