A new leak fromGenshin Impactis hinting that Eula will be receiving a re-run during an upcoming patch, with the character boasting the longest gap since her last banner. Re-runs have become a regular part of the gacha cycle for HoYoverse’s massively popular RPG, giving players more chances to pick up characters they missed. Update 3.6 is rumored to feature three re-runs with new character Baizhu joined by re-runs of Ganyu, Nilou, andNahida during the update. Now, one leaked upcoming re-run has been a long time coming for fans.While Eula isn’t seen as one ofGenshin Impact’s most powerful characters, the daughter of Mondstadt’s Lawrence clan fills an interesting niche within the game. The Cryo Claymore user features a playstyle heavily focused around physical damage, prioritizing her Normal and Charged Attacks over dealing elemental damage. Eula currently holds the dubious record for the longest active drought since her previous banner, last appearing over a year ago in Version 2.3 in November 2021. The leak suggests Eula will be making her return in Version 3.8, currently believed to be launching sometime in the summer. Previous leaks have suggested Eula will play some role in the featured event in Version 3.8 with many speculating thatthe Golden Apple Archipelago regionwill be returning as well. Version 3.8 is currently speculated to be the last patch before the release ofGenshin Impact’s next major region in Fontaine.
Eula’s re-appearance in the game’s limited banner will come asGenshin Impacthas changed significantly around her since her last re-run. Eula’s last re-run early in the Inazuma update cycle came long before the release ofGenshin Impact’s newest element, Dendro.Genshin Impacthas also seen the addition of several characters supporting her physical damage-based gameplay like Yun Jin andthe newly-released Mika. Eula has only featured onGenshin Impact’s limited banner twice between her previously mentioned re-run and her release in Version 1.5.
The Eula re-run leaks coincide with the HoYoverse RPG gearing up for plenty of new characters coming to the game in the near future. Version 3.5 saw the debut of two new characters between five-star Claymore wielder Dehya and the four-star character Mika. Version 3.6 will see Baizhu and Kaveh joinGenshin Impactwithcharacters as far as Fontaine’s releasebeing leaked throughout recent weeks. Eula’s re-run in Version 3.8 will mark her long-awaited return for both new fans and players who missed her before.
