Summary
Considered to be the primary endgame activity inGenshin Impact, one player managed to reach the final floor of the Spiral Abyss while only having an Adventure Rank of 25. Though fans have been advocating for abigger focus on the endgame inGenshin Impact, the Spiral Abyss has at least allowed them to push the limits of their teams in tackling its challenging enemies and bosses. The Spiral Abyss changes with eachGenshin ImpactVersion, and resets twice per month, keeping the challenges fresh and preventing the domain from getting too stale.
However, given that world bosses and weekly domains primarily serve a purpose in ascending a character or leveling up their talents, the Spiral Abyss inGenshin Impactrepresents the sole source of difficulty that not every player can fully clear. It takes some dedication to obtain a decent artifact set for characters, on top of having an understanding of how teams synergize, to stand a chance at completing the Spiral Abyss on a regular basis. While theaddition of Hyperbloom teams toGenshin Impacthas made the Spiral Abyss more approachable, Consecrated Beasts in the Sumeru era have shown that the domain isn’t to be trifled with.

Taking all these factors into consideration, that’s what makes VietnameoMapping’s success so noteworthy. They were able to reach Floor 12 of the Spiral Abyss while working under the limitations imposed on an Adventure Rank of 25. This meant that they had to tackle enemies at Level 90 while only being at Level 50. Furthermore, since most Artifact domains inGenshin Impactonly unlock at AR 30, the teams would be limited to only the 5-Star artifacts obtained through the Spiral Abyss itself.
That being said, VietnameoMapping did manage to obtain some staple party members, such as Kazuha, Nahida, Ayaka, and even Hu Tao. They also capitalized on Baizhu’s recent surge in usefulness, as well as the damage bonus provided by Furina, by obtaining both limited characters in thelatestGenshin Impactbanner for Version 4.2.
According to VietnameoMapping, they usedGenshin Impact’s tried-and-true Ayaka Freeze teamfor the first half of the Spiral Abyss, with a Quickbloom Furina team to challenge the second half. Depending on the enemy composition, they also used a Taser team for the first half as an alternate. While reaching Floor 12 is a major accomplishment, VietnameoMapping pointed out that completing the entirety of the Spiral Abyss was out of the question, as it would be impossible to meet the extreme DPS check that the final three chambers demand at such a low Adventure Rank.
