Besides the usual support Kratos receives during combat inGod of War Ragnarok, he is also able to use special skills for each of the three weapons he possesses. By collecting and using Light Runic or Heavy Runic attacks, Kratos will have a chance to either stun the enemy or inflict massive elemental damage according to the wielded weapon.

A staggering area-of-effect attack that deals Frost status to all nearby enemies.
DuringThe Word of Fate quest inGod of War Ragnarok, it is possible to find Ivaldis Anvil Heavy Runic Attack. After fending off a couple of enemies in The Derelict Outpost, head west and enter a door. Break the icicles, leap down, pull the chains, rotate the mechanism, get back up, and swing to the other side. From here, leap up and open the Legendary Chest to obtain the Ivaldis Anvil Heavy Runic Attack.
