God of Warfans have a lot to celebrate, as theGod of War Ragnaroktrailer finally arrived earlier this month. As such, many are showing their appreciation for the game, with oneGod of War Ragnarokfan sharing a cool, cartoony art piece based on three major characters.
Twitter user @govy9807 is clearly looking to the new title for inspiration, as the artist captures a few of thenew looks seen inGod of War Ragnarok. The artist has shared several neat pieces on social media, all of which showcase their distinct style. The latest looks at three of the characters that will be crucial to the story of the nextGod of Wargame, and while Kratos and his son Atreus are obvious inclusions, many fans will be happy to see Mimir represented in the piece as well.

The smartest man alive has built up quite the fan base in recent years, withGod of Warfans sharing everything from real life replicas totattoos based on Mimir. Given his unique design and the memorable stories he tells to the father and son duo, it is easy to see why he has become a fan favorite. With Mimir making the journeys across Midgard more memorable for @govy9807 and thousands of other players, it makes sense to see him included. He also fits the style perfectly.
The cartoony Mimir can clearly be seen with a pipe in his mouth and an interested look on his face, which is very different from Kratos’ neutral expression. As stiff and straight-faced as he is in the game, the Ghost of Sparta’s emotionless appearance is very well done. The decision to make theversion of Kratosseen in the drawing wider than the other character is a great one, and his signature scar is clearly noticeable on his stomach. The protagonist’s signature Leviathan axe is also held in one hand, with Mimir seen in the other.
As forthe all-important Atreus, theGod of War’s son boasts a determined look on his face. His bow can also be seen, as can the yellow outfit that he was seen wearing in the new trailer. His new hairstyle is included in the piece, too. The artist even does a great job with the backdrop, as the damaged Norse statues and snow make it very clearly that the trio is exploring a world that is currently being impacted by the events of Ragnarok.
WhileGod of War Ragnarok’s storywill surely be full of new moments that are worthy of some art, this piece does a great job of setting the stage for the sequel. With such a unique style, it stands out from the realistic graphics that the series is known for, making it even more memorable.
