Is GTA V Enhanced Edition Worth Buying?
While many players will have their reservations regarding paying for the Enhanced Edition, there are a couple of features that add value to the upgrade, such as:
Upgraded Visuals
The second remaster forGTA 5will draw the player’s attention withits upgraded visuals. For instance, the lighting system transforms the game entirely, guaranteed to leave players awestruck no matter where they are in the game. Apart from the impressive lighting system, players can switch between 30 and 60FPS, which is a breath of fresh air. Players can also switch between Performance RT, Performance, and Fidelity modes on the fly, but there is no massive difference when ray tracing is enabled.
GTA 5greatly benefits from the high-resolution textures and vibrant colors that breathe new life into an aging title.
Upgraded Haptic Feedback
GTA 5Enhanced Edition takes advantage of a PS5-exclusive feature, making the most of the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. While many players are not impressed with Sony’s new controller, the new haptics and triggers are amazing. The PS5 controller allows players to feel rough terrains, the rumble of the car engine, and more.
The PS5 controller’s light bar also changes color when players acquire a wanted level. The color varies depending onthe character currently being controlled. This feature was available on the PS4 controller, but the light bar’s placement prevented it from being as impactful as it is now.
Affordable Pricing (Maybe)?
There is no arguing that Rockstar Games could have given this update for free, but the upgrade cost is quite affordable, at least for the PS5. Furthermore, PS5 owners will have many more features to look forward to due to the new PS5 controller and its offerings. Unfortunately, Xbox Series X/S owners are not so lucky.
Currently, the pricing is as follows:
