Players are first introduced to leylines after completing the opening chapter ofImmortals of Aveum. Giving protagonist Jak a crash course on the magical Order of Immortals he’s now found himself involved with, General Kirkan explains that the leylines spanning the world of Aveum are the source of magic in the fantasy world. While most of the spell-wielding warriors fighting for each side can only access one type, or color, of magic from the leylines, protagonist Jak’s rare ability to draw all three makes him unique among the combatants.
