InInscryption, many creature cards have special effects called Sigils that give them special powers. For most of these abilities, players can look in the player handbook to find the rules for things like Airborne, Waterborne, and otherAct 1Inscryptioncardsigils. However, there are a couple of pages that have been stained and the player cannot read them. One of these is Bell Ringer.
Bell Ringer Tentacle
The only card with Bell Ringer’s sigil on it is the Bell Ringer Tentacle (although theStatic Card inInscryptionmay be able to also get this sigil). The Tentacle cards are a special card type that doesn’t seem to fit into Leshy’s theme. These cards were obviously not created by him, and all three contain strange sigils with unreadable meanings. The Mirror Tentacle, which mirrors the attack power of whatever creature is across the board from it, and the Hand Tentacle, which has the attack power equal to the number of cards in the player’s hand, are fairly easy to figure out. However, many players have who have been trying to build thebest possibleInscyrptiondeckare trying to use the Bell Ringer card without being able to figure out how it works.
What is Bell Ringer in Inscryption
Although players of thisindie gamemight think that the Bell Ringer would mean that the creature’s attack power would rise every turn or every ring of the bell, this is not how it works. The Bell Ringer Tentacle’s attack power is actually based on distance from the bell, which makes the title of the sigil a little misleading. It will always have three defense power, and its attack power will range from one to four depending on how it is placed.
Since this card costs two blood, the right two spots have too low of attack power for the casting cost.A great tip forInscryptionplayersis to always make sure their Bell Ringer card will end up in one of the left two positions for maximum damage to the opponent.
