Summary
Jujutsu Kaisenchapter 243 leaks are finally here and this week’s chapter is certainly incredibly exciting for the fans. Finally, the fight between Takaba and Kenjaku is over. This fight has been continuing for the last few weeks now, and it has officially wrapped up. Fans were treated to quite an interesting conclusion to the chapter this time around, much of which was anticlimactic.
As always, it was something that fans really could not predict and what’s even more surprising is that the end to the chapter was exciting and shocking at the same time.JJKchapter 243 met all expectations and more.

Kenjaku And Takaba Perform
One of the few things that fans predicted would happen inJJKchapter 243 was Takaba and Kenjaku performing together. These two characters knew that they had a stage set in front of them and that they had to perform. In the previous chapter, they engaged in quite a lot of stupidity which certainly was amusing to the fans. However, in a series such asJJK, all this comedy felt ill-placed. Nonetheless, it was certainly exciting for the fans to see a different approach being taken in the story.JJKchapter 243 continued this approach and together,Kenjaku and Takaba performed live.
This performance was certainly successful and something that continued the bizarre nature of the cursed technique of Takaba. After a long conversation and a successful show, Takaba realized that this was supposed to be their last act. For Takaba, this was the final bow and he realized that it was going to end soon now. Takaba certainly did not want to let go of his partner, Kenjaku, and the comedy act to come to an end. However, he realized that, just like a star, he had now reached his brightest point before fizzling out. This performance moved Kenjaku as well and that certainly should not be surprising to any fan, given that it was made clear that Takaba’s cursed technique causes soul resonance.

Takaba’s Death
Jujutsu Kaisenchapter 243 then tooka very strange turn as Takabaappears to have met his end. Shortly after concluding the act, Takaba appears in the attire of what appears to be a dead person. He is lying on the ground with a smile on his face acting as if he’s already dead. What makes this even more weird is the fact that Kenjaku starts to pay some sort of tribute to Takaba and he too acts like his opponent has finally died. This would mean that Takaba has lost the battle to Kenjaku and succumbed. However, this death is very different from any other that fans have seen in the story so far. Essentially, Kenjaku did not kill Takaba but his own cursed technique did in a way.
Takaba appears to have died with a smile on his face and in quite a peaceful manner. Before he ended up dying, Kenjaku told him that he certainly was a very funny guy and, thus, Takaba was able to claim a victory in the sense that he was able to make the toughest customer laugh, just as he had promised.

It must be remembered that Takaba’s death has not been explicitly confirmed just yet. Fans never know what turn his cursed technique will take, however, at the moment certainly does seem like he has officially died. In the coming chapters, fans will likely get more context as to what happened to his character and how things will shape for Takaba from here onward.
Yuta Okkotsu Arrives
The most exciting part of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 243 comes towards the end, shortly after the battle between Takaba and Kenjaku wraps up. Immediately after Kenjaku claims his victory in the fight against Takaba, he realizes that he has been played. Yuta ambushes him from behind and before he can even move a finger,Yuta delivers a powerful attack.Kenjaku is quite confused as to how this could happen. Fans know that Yuta possesses quite a lot of cursed energy and for him to sneak up on someone like Kenjaku is almost impossible. It is there that Kenjaku puts things together and realizes that it was Takaba who made this possible with his cursed technique and soul resonance.
Yuta sneaks up on him from behind and launches a powerful attack from his sword, cleanly cutting his head off. This is then revealed to be the plan for Yuta and the team all along.

Yuta was waiting for the perfect opportunity to launch this strike and Takaba was, essentially, made the bait for that to happen. With this strike, Yuta also fulfilled his promise to Gojo, as he had once mentioned to him that he would be the one to kill Kenjaku. With Kenjaku now being decapitated, it is clear that he has run out of options for now and he cannot fight back against Yuta in any shape or form. This is a massive shock that has come towards the end of the chapter and fans absolutely did not expect this to happen, especially now of all times.
Kenjaku’s Death
JJK chapter 243 raises quite a lot of questions about Kenjaku’s death. After being decapitated, it is clear that Kenjaku now cannot returnto the body of Suguru Geto. This is simply down to the fact that he himself acknowledges the fact that he was very close to his goal and that he failed at the very last moment. This, coming from Kenjaku, all but clarifies the fact that he cannot put things back as they were and that he has now run out of options, especially when it comes to manipulating the body of Suguru. His brain tries to make a run for it, however, Yuta is there. Before his plans are completely ruined, however, Kenjaku says that his will continues to live and that someone else would carry it and bring his goals to fruition.
As to who exactly Kenjaku is referring to, fans do not know at this point in the story. However, it remains to be seen as to where Kenjaku and his character will go from here. Kenjaku is essentially a brain and it has not been exorcized inJJKchapter 243. This means the exorcism of Kenjaku could happen in JJK chapter 244, or, he will make a run for it, which would then give Kenjaku options to take over other bodies.
There are quite a lot of ways this could go from here onwards and it all depends on how the author wants to tackle the story. Given that Kenjaku is the biggest antagonist inJJK, fans cannot expect him to die right now. A betting person would place their money on Kenjaku making an escape.
