Marvel’s Avengershas been teasing the Red Room Takeover sincethe game’s first Road Map was revealedearlier this year, but actual details on the Black Widow-themed event have been pretty scarce. Now that May is finally here, players are learning a lot more about what to expect. First off, the event is broken into two phases, the first of which is already underway.
The Rooskaya Protocols event kicked off withlast week’s content rotationand introduced some brand new chain quests for players to power through while earning some exciting rewards. Similar to the recentMarvel’s AvengersTachyon Anomaly event, these event chains offer a nameplate for the first completion, but have XP and item incentives for players who have time to complete multiples.

The Rooskaya Protocols event runs through May 20, so players still have a decent amount of time to jump in and power through some of the tasks at hand before part two, theRed Room Takeover, arrives. Details about part two are still pretty slim, but players can expect to learn a lot more within the next two weeks as that date approaches.
Event Features and Rewards
The Rooskaya Protocols will initiate from May 6 to May 20.
Unique mission chains will appear during the Rooskaya Protocols that each have multiple objectives. They range from defeating enemies with specific Heroics to completing a specific mission type like a Vault.
One of the main objectives in each of these missions is to defeat Synthoids to collect a number of Protocol Chips – these Protocol Chip objectives must be done with either the player, a Strike Team member, or a Companion in the role of Black Widow.
Completing these mission chains will reward you with either Upgrade Modules or Polychoron. Furthermore, the very first completion of any of these mission chains will reward you with a team Rooskaya Protocols animated nameplate.

Red Room Outfit Dates

Red Room Takeover Dates
The Red Room Takeover itself will begin on May 20 where players will need to survive Yelena Belova’s deadly HARM Room – a difficult feat only the most agile can achieve.
That should be everything players need to know to jump into the Rooskaya Protocols activities and get started towards earning their in-game rewards.
