InCall of Duty: Modern Warfare,it is usually wise to not bring a knife into a gunfight. With bullets flying from every angle, approaching enemies can become a challenge for anyone hoping to wield a knife. Despite this,Modern Warfareprovides players with close combat options that are powerful for those who know how to wield them.
One player found the perfect opportunity to destroy their opponents with avery unexpected melee weapon. This is their second game using the unconventional weapon, but that did not stop the onslaught that occurred in this control-oriented match.

The video shows a brave player leaping out of the bounds of the map and rushing into the enemy flank.Wielding two Kali-Sticks,the player jumps a fence back into the safe area and beats down an unsuspecting player. Rushing into a nearby door, they beat down another and ascend the stairs to find three very shocked enemies. Starting with the one furthest in the back, he beat down one, then rushed to the sniper, and then the support on the right window. Turning around, the player rushed at an enemy that had noticed them, sliding into a lethal swing of attacks that down the enemy soldier. Dropping to the first floor, he attacked another and then rounded the corner to catch another player hiding behind cover.
There were a total of seven kills as this brave and crazy Kali-Stick wielding player cleared the entire house alone. Not even thebest guns inModern Warfarewould be able to stop this merciless melee assassin. Although it is not known if they won the match, it is clear that the Kali-Sticks are an unconventional yet highly effective weapon in the hands of this player.
Kali-Sticks were added in the Season 4 patch. The weapons require players to complete some minor challenges. It is not hard to unlock the Kali-Sticks, it just takes some time and dedication. That said, it is well worth the work for those who enjoy melee weapons inCall of Duty.
This video sparked another discussion in the comments on whether the Kali-Sticks are better than a standard knife. The Kali-Sticks do have the advantage of range but are by default a two-hit kill. Meanwhile, theknife only takes one striketo down a player. It is up to each individual player but thisModern Warfarefan should stay on the Kali-Stick side.
