With eachMortal Kombat 11character having access to a bevy of skins and gear pieces, there is certainly plenty of room for players to customize the looks of every fighter on the game’s extensive roster. That said, one particularly popularMortal Kombat 11skinhas thus far been unavailable to a substantial portion of the playerbase, but NetherRealm Studios has now confirmed that this will not be the case for much longer.
As announced through the officialMortal Kombat 11Twitter account, the Kold War Skarlet skin will finally be available in the Time Krystal Store beginning Friday, February 14. The six different color variations of the Kold War skin will be packaged across three separate bundles, and those bundles will be in the store on a 24 hour rotation for six days. As such, players that want to pickup all six colors should plan to fire upMK11several times over the course of the upcoming week.

For the uninitiated, theMortal Kombat 11Kold War Skarlet skinwas a pre-order bonus primarily available to those in Russia, though it was also offered to players that pre-ordered the Special Edition of the game through Amazon. These limited avenues for obtaining the skin have made it quite a rarity indeed, and many fans have been dreaming of the day that they would be able to purchase the cosmetic for themselves.
Now, nearly 10 months afterMortal Kombat 11’s release date, that day has finally come, and players are certainly excited. However, it is important to note that a complete set of the skin’s six color variations could easily cost in the neighborhood of 5,000 Time Krystals, and fans that are interested in the cosmetic should make sure that is something that they are able to cover beforehand.
It is also worth mentioning that it is likely to be quite some time beforeNetherRealm Studiosputs the Kold War Skarlet skin back into the Time Krystal Store after this six day period is up. Indeed, this may prove frustrating to fans that simply cannot accessMortal Kombat 11during this time frame, or are short on Time Krystals, but hopefully this will be an opportunity for most of the playerbase to finally pickup this sought-afterMK11skin.
Mortal Kombat 11is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
