TheMultiVersusfan community has already come up with some pretty creative additions to the fighting game’s roster, including an appropriately villainous move set forPowerpuff Girlsvillain Mojo Jojo, and this move set for The Boy Who Lived is one of the best yet.
Ever sinceMultiVersuswas released, with its eclectic cast of playable characters spanning a variety of properties from the Warner Bros. Discovery catalog, players have been petitioning developer Player First Games to add more characters to the game. Some eager fans have also gone as far as to come up with move sets for their own dream characters.MultiVersushas already added new characters to the roster post-release, including the recent addition ofRick and Morty’s Rick Sanchez, and has plans to continue adding more characters on a regular basis.

Redditor Midi_to_Minuit has created a move set for his hypothetical Harry Potter character, meant to be either a Mage or Support class, that features a good mix of offensive and defensive abilities and makes use of several of the most iconic spells and characters from the classic franchise. Harry’s magical abilities include the ability to surround himself with a Patronus to attack his opponents, drinking a Polymorph Juice potion to temporarily transform into an enemy and gain a health boost, or taking to the air on his broom to avoid attacks. When magic alone isn’t enough,Harry can call on Dobby the House Elfto reflect opponents’ projectiles back at them with a sock or have his owl, Hedwig, fly in to take a peck at them.
MultiVersus fans who responded to the post applauded Midi_to_Minuit for coming up with a move set that stayed true to Harry’s abilities from the books and films, with one poster giving particular praise to Harry’s proposed passive ability. The passive ability, Spellbook, would cause Harry to cycle through his spells with each use and force players to be strategic when determining which spells to use at which time. WhileMultiVersushas plenty of signature perksto pick from, Harry’s would let him boost his spell damage with an Elder Wand or summon Dumbledore’s Phoenix to heal himself once per match.
With the inclusion of so many classic Warner Bros. characters inMultiVersusalready, this hypothetical Harry Potter character feels like it would be a fitting addition to the game. Harry’s magical abilities would make him stand out from the existing roster of characters, which is so far mostly made up of cartoon characters and superheroes. While Harry Potter may not be flying his broomstick intoMultiVersusany time soon, gamers won’t have long to wait until they canexplore the halls of Harry’s alma mater for themselves whenHogwarts Legacyreleases on February 10.
MultiVersusis currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
