Not only is it going topull the curtain on Deku’s journey, along with that of many other Hero aspirants, but it could also decide the future of the franchise as a whole. The My Hero Academia manga is coming to an end, but this doesn’t have to be the end for the entire franchise. As things stand, there is aton of potential for the seriesto still continue with a sequel later down the line. There is no telling whetherHorikoshi is interested in drawing a sequelor not. In fact, he mentioned that he would see fans again in Jump at a later time.
At the very least, what fans can infer from that is thatHorikoshi doesn’t intend to stop being a mangaka. He does want to continue in Jump, but, whether that is with a new series, or with a sequel to My Hero Academia, remains to be seen. As things stand, there is hope for a My Hero Academia sequel, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet, and fans should treat this end as a proper conclusion to the entire series for now.
