The portion of the trailer that hasKakarotfans excited is barely two seconds long, but the key information is the “World Flight” descriptor in the bottom left hand corner. A quick shot ofGreat Ape Vegeta inDragon Ball Z: Kakarotis followed by several characters flying through the air at him, but then the trailer cuts to footage of a different game. For fans who have kept up with theKakarotscreenshot leaks, there are some interesting differences.
First of all, most of the characters present in the previously leaked group screenshot are present here in new one, with almost identical positioning. However, there is one less character in the new group shot than the old one, and most of them are wearing different outfits. There have already been speculations that the flying group are possible members of theTournament of Power teamfrom theDragon Ball Superanime, but the new group shot members still don’t fit the bill exactly.
After seeing the “World Flight” footage, fans are speculating that this could be a new mode forDragon Ball Z: Kakarotthat offers free roam with any character, or an online mode. The old screenshots have already sparked thoughts about aDragon Ball ZBroly DLC, and there’s not enough in the two second video to confirm or deny any theories. Today’s Battle Hour probably holds the key to deciphering this footage, so fans should join one of the five live-stream channels for the event to find out.
