In the video posted to Reddit by rg_elitezx, his squad has gathered around a buy station with two helicopters. They seemed to bekilling time in Verdanskwhile waiting for their teammates to buy things. After one of his teammates buys a loadout drop, they tossed the smoke signal close to the building. Not thinking anything of it, they simply waited until the drop appeared when suddenly it bounced off the roof and flipped in the air twice beforelanding perfectly atop the blades of one of theWarzonehelicopters. Although the flip was not intentional, it quickly gained acclaim among some circles of Reddit as part of a slowly growing trend.
Slowly, more videos are appearing on Reddit and YouTube as players find ways to flip the loadout crates and make them land. Similar to the “Water Bottle Challenge” that circulated the web several years ago, the idea is to flip the entire loadout before having it land perfectly back on its base.
It should be noted that most loadout flips tend to happen accidentally, as fans often misjudge the drop location of the crates. While some players have found ways to optimize the flip, others just get plain lucky that the box doesn’t simply get stuck in unreachable places. Crates can easily be lodged into trees, stuck on high builds, or sometimes simplyslip through the ground mesh inWarzone.
Still, the loadout flip trend has players aiming their loadout drops around the map in hopes of seeing it bounce and flip. To successfully flip any of these crates, players must first understand that they are dropping at a high speed. It is less about the surface they are landing on and more about the angle of which they land that causes them to bounce in the air. While players are busy flippingloadout crates,Warzoneis moving quickly towards its next season of brand new content for its dedicated community.
