The originalpink Mercy skin is coming toOverwatch 2as part of a similar charity campaign, but this time, a second package will be available that clads Mercy in an entirely new pink-themed suit and comes bundled with extras, including an exclusive heroic weapon skin. The Rose Gold Mercy Bundle will sell for $19.99, and the officialOverwatchwebsite statesthat 100 percent of the proceeds from purchases — excluding taxes and platform fees — will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the United States' largest charity dedicated to the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. That same donation rate applies to the re-release of the original pink Mercy skin, which will be available for $14.99.

In addition to the new exclusive skin which decks Mercy and her weapon out in hues of deep rose and pale pink with metallic gold accents, players who purchase the bundle will also receive three name cards, three sprays, and three icons for use in the game. Both the bundle and the original pink suit will be available beginning June 25 and will leave the game’s store on July 8. Blizzard has clarified that the Rose Gold Mercy skin will not be available as a standalone item and must be purchased as part of the bundle. This charity event overlaps with theOverwatch 2Pride Monthfestivities, which include clothing sales that will benefit The Trevor Project, a suicide prevention charity that benefits the LGBTQIA community.
Breast cancer is the number one cause of cancer-related deaths among women worldwide, and the gaming community has taken notice. Along with the efforts put forth by Blizzard andOverwatch,Street Fighter 5started its own breast cancer research charityeffort in fall 2021, offering pink-themed outfits for Chun-Li and Ryu and donating proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
