Pokemonfan art is one of the most popular ways for many fans of the franchise to express their love for the series. Recently, aPokemonFan artist has taken it upon themselves to design a Poison-type evolution for the Normal-type Pokemon Eevee.
Eevee is a popular Pokemon among fans for its unique gimmick in which it is capable of evolving into one of eight different evolutions. The latest one is Sylveon introduced in 2013’sPokemon X and Y. WhilePokemondeveloper, Game Freak, has yet tointroduce an evolution of Eeveefor every type into the main series titles, a fan artist has designed a possible appearance for a Poison-type evolution of Eevee.

A user on Reddit who goes by the username Igrisa has designed their interpretation of Eevee’s possible Poison-type form, dubbing the creature, “Polluteon.” Coming from the route words, pollution and eon, this fan creation is described as shooting tiny poisonous spikes from its body when threatened. If this doesn’t work, then the creature will release highly toxic pollution from its body in order to defend itself. Igrisa has also noted that Polluteon would have the abilities “poison point” and “poison heal.”
While this is Igrisa’s latest piece ofPokemonfan art, they have created otherPokemon-themed pieces in the past such as aGhost-type evolution for Eeveeand fan art of fan-favorite Mimikyu. Igrisa created fan art for several other franchises as well, includingFive Nights atFreddy’sandDeltarune.
ManyPokemonfans will be pleased with the work done byIgrisa, as their unique style creates a striking design for a Pokemon many would like to see. Given that Eevee is classified as the evolution Pokemon, it is natural that many fans would desire to see Eevee gain an evolution for every type in thePokemongames. Game Freak has introduced an evolution of Eevee for Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Dark, Ice, and Fairy which makes up nearly half the roster of types currently available as ofPokemon Sword and Shield, which was released in 2019. Players have fallen in love with this gimmick and desire to see the remaining ten types receive an Eevee evolution of their own to complete the set.
Though Game Freak has yet to introduce an Eevee evolution of every type into the games, fan artists such asIgrisa have taken it upon themselves to finish what was started inPokemon Red and Greenreleased in 1996, and complete Eevee’s evolutionary line by creating their own renditions of different forms for Eevee if it could evolve into every current type.
