Eevee and its many evolutions present some of the most widely-beloved critters in thePokemonworld, and a creative member of the community shows their love for one of these Eeveelutions by creating a pull-apart rug based on Umbreon. The Eevee family, in particular, has inspired no end of creative endeavors from thePokemoncommunity over the past couple of decades, with the adorable Normal-type Pokemon receiving even more new evolutionary forms throughout the franchise’s life.
Eevee itself is a Normal-type Pokemon that’s a particularly unique creature due to it having so many potential evolutions. Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Espeon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Umbreon, and Sylveon are all possible evolutions for Eevee, with each one being of a different type. Each Eevee can only evolve once though, and players will often need to find specific items or visit certain places to set the circumstances for Eevee to evolve into some of its forms. While some of thelater entries in thePokemonseries of games introduced more formsfor the critter, some of the available types in the game remain unused by the Eevee family, leading many fans to believe that new Eeveelutions will be introduced sometime in the future.

Eevee’s many forms have long been inspiring a seemingly endless amount ofartwork from creative fans of thePokemonfranchise, with one player recently sharing a clever design of their own. The fan, known as the user GremlynRugs on Reddit, shared a post featuring a pull-apart rug of their own making that depicts an Umbreon being held within a Moon Ball. This cute design fits together in such a way that the Moon Ball can be kept open or closed, and it isn’t the only Pokemon-themed rug designed by the creator. Interested fans can check out some of the designer’s other works, which include many detailed rug designs, such as a similar Flareon pull-apart rug.
Although no new Eeveelution has been seen since Sylveon was introduced inPokemon X and Yback in 2013, fans haven’t held back in designing some of their own. CountlessPokemonfan artists have taken to drawing beautifuldesigns of unofficial Eeveelutions, many of which take advantage of types not yet utilized by members of the Eevee family. Though fans are still waiting on a new evolution for the little guy, Eevee did get the spotlight once again with thePokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!andLet’s Go, Eevee!games a few years ago.
The latest entries to the core-series games,Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, have introduced a wealth of new creatures that push the total number of existing Pokemon to over 1,000. Though there are more yet to come withthe upcomingHidden Treasure of Area ZeroDLC, there’s no telling how long it could be before fans finally get to see another entry to the Eevee family.
