With each new generation ofPokemon,there’s always a new Regional Pokedex, new challenges, and definitely new Pokemon that grow to become mainstays as each generation passes. One Pokemon that’s become almost a mainstay is Wumple, the Worm Pokemon from Hoennfirst seen in Generation 3, and easily found inPokemon Legends: Arceus. One of the most curious things about Wurmple is it has two secondary evolutions, with both evolutions being almost random in which one players get for each different worm.
Unfortunately, inPokemon Legends: Arceus, this ends up being a stroke of bad luck for Beauregard, one of the Survey Corps' guards who gives fans their first side quest. He asks for the player to catch a Wurmple, so he can evolve it into a Beautifly, but little does he know that fate has something else in store for him and his partner Pokemon.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus - How to Start Request 10
The trickiest thing about Beauregard’s second request is that it’s rather confusing and hard to get. If players don’t do their part to meet the criteria, they may play the game for hours before finally unlocking it. As easy as it is for fans to miss out on unlocking Request 10, it’s also easy to fix the problem with a quickstroll around Hisui.
After players have completed the first request in the game, giving Beauregardhis prized Wurmple, fans should speak to him again once some time has passed. This will lead to the Wurmple evolving into a Cascoon, and players will be one step closer to getting Request 10. Once that’s done, all fans need to do iscatch two Wurmple and evolve them into both Cascoon and Silcoonfor their Pokedex. From there, if Beauregard’s spoken to again, he’ll mumble something about the professor and the new request is now available.
Wurmple Evolved Request Walkthrough
With Beauregard grumbling over what Professor Laventon had to say to him, players simply need togo to the Professor’s blackboardto receive the “Wurmple Evolved!” request. Like many of the otherblackboard missions inPokemon Legends: Arceus, fans just need to talk to the guardsman about what he needs, which is to see a second Silcoon to compare his own “Silcoon” to.
For those that need one, players canfind a Silcoon in Floraro Gardens and the Heartwood in the Obsidian Fieldlands, or they can simply catch a Wurmple and evolve it at level 7. However, if players can find a Silcoon out in the wild to avoid the uncertainty ofwhat the Worm Pokemon will evolve into, that may be better overall. If players already have one in their pasture, they won’t need to worry about this step as that one will work just fine and will be handed back to them afterward.
With the Silcoon caught, all fans need to do from there isspeak to Beauregardonce again, thenchoose the Silcoon they wish to show himfrom their party or pastures. After a rather amusing player choice and a few sentimental words between the guardsman andhis partner Pokemon, the quest will be cleared, and the players can get their reward.
