Not only would this be an emotional spectacle for players, especially if this occurs during the game’s final moments, but it would give fans an opportunity to see just how far Miles has grown ever sinceMarvel’s Spider-Man(2018), andMarvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales.
From some of the sequences in both thestory trailerand gameplay showcase, it appears as though Insomniac is already attempting to prepare fans for a battle between the student and mentor, and this will be even more plausible if the symbiote takes control over Peter at a greater rate than what fans have been exposed to.

One of the potential results of a battle with his mentor is the chance of Miles taking up the mantle permanently, depending on the outcome of it all. As many fans suspect Peter’s death or disappearance in one form or another, especially if he loses himself with the symbiote suit, this would be the most suitable and likely outcome for Miles Morales.

What form these expanded abilities might take are unknown at the moment, but deadlier threats from Venom, symbiote-suit Peter, Kraven, Dr. Connors as Lizard, and potentially more yet to be revealed, are all the more reason as to why Insomniac may decide to make Miles more powerful on this occasion.
1Symbiote Miles Morales
Considering Insomniac’s intention of creating a new and unique Spider-Man story withMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, especially with the fact that Venom is said to not be the usual Eddie Brock, fans could be in for an even greater surprise when it comes to Miles. While the adaptations in live-action and animated movies along with games featuring Miles Morales are still growing, the presence or suggestion of a symbiote Miles has not been presented aside from the comics.
Despite the chances of this occurring being very slim, especially since the story seems to be building toward Peter losing control, seeing Miles don the Venom symbiote suit even for just a brief sequence would be a surprise for fans, to say the least. Duringthe unveiling of the limited-editionSpider-Man 2PS5 console, dialogue between Peter and Miles hints at the pair fighting to help Peter be rid of the Venom symbiote, as further suggested by the symbiote on the console itself. If this is present in the game, it could be one of the few possible moments that the symbiote could try to bond with Miles.
