While some expected Ubisoft to bring its Ubisoft+ subscription service to Xbox, the company has instead been bringing its big games toXbox Game Passone by one. Ubisoft started adding its library of games toXbox Game Passearlier this year with the day one release ofRainbow Six Extraction, which was followed up byAssassin’s Creed Origins,Far Cry 5, and others. Now a new leak may reveal the next game Ubisoft plans on bringing to Xbox Game Pass.
As reported by Pure Xbox, leaker Aggiornamenti Lumia, known for their Microsoft Store leaks, has potentially found evidence thatImmortals Fenyx Risingis making its way to Xbox Game Pass. SinceUbisoft has been bringing all its other games to Xbox Game Pass, one would think thatImmortals Fenyx Risingmaking its debut on the service is just a matter of time, though fans should still keep their expectations in check for now.

Immortals Fenyx Rising, for the uninitiated, is a Greek mythology action-adventure game that clearly takes inspiration from Nintendo’sThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Developed by Ubisoft Quebec and released in 2020,Immortals Fenyx Risingearned somewhat positive reviews, with critics impressed by its open world and combat, but let down by its puzzles. If it is coming to Xbox Game Pass as the leak suggests, it seems many more gamers will get to tryImmortals Fenyx Risingand make a determination about the game for themselves.
There are rumors from reliable sources that Ubisoft is in the midst of working on a sequel or spinoff toImmortals Fenyx Risingthat may go with a completely different name. It’s said to featureHawaiian and Polynesian mythologyas opposed to Greek mythology, which could make for an interesting change of pace. It has not been announced in an official capacity, though, so fans should keep that in mind.
As for when the potentialImmortals Fenyx Risingsequelcould be announced, that remains to be seen. It’s possible it will be revealed at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event in September, though no games have been confirmed that just yet.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that leaks about Ubisoft games coming to Xbox Game Pass have been inaccurate in the past. For example, it was previously leaked thatFar Cry 6was coming to Xbox Game Pass, but Ubisoft came out to deny those claims. Video game companies generally avoid making any statements about rumors and speculation, so Ubisoft taking the time to deny those rumors is telling.
