9Sail As An Emissary For A Guild

Sea of Thieves' Guilds lets players team up with up to 24 Guild members under their custom Guild name, banner, and more. However, some players might not be aware that they can sail as aSea of ThievesEmissaryas a Guild, allowing players to net even more buckets of gold and rewards.

However, to sail as an Emissary for a Guild, players should note they must first reach level 15 reputation for their Guild before they can activate this within a Sovereign representative tent. So, there is a small amount of grinding to do first to build the required reputation.

8Costume Rewards Through Guilds

There are some unique rewards players can earn as they gradually build up their Guild reputation through its new Distinctions system. As players level up their Guild reputation, there are unlockable costume rewards that let players role-play some of the core roles on a pirate ship, including a cook, navigator, cannoneer, and helmsman.

Some of the bestSea of Thievesoutfitsare often those that look the most authentic, so these could be a welcome addition for fans who prefer a more understated pirate look.

7Colored Rowboats

Although the return of colored rowboats from the former Arena might raise a few eyebrows for some players, for others, it’s a fun new addition with various colored rowboat variants to discover in the open game world, including the Azure Scout, Flaming Jackal, Golden Chaser, Lucky Rover, Regal Hound, and rarest Good Boy Liveries.

Once players get one of these desirable vessels, it’s also worth noting they can now save them to their ship once attached, so they’ll appear with the player’s ship every time players load up their game. This is a great time-saver, with players no longer needing to spend time hunting for one once obtained.

6Pac-Man Style Collector’s Treasure Chest Update

Over the years, variousSea of Thievesquality-of-life updatesgradually made their way into the game, such as storage chests, wider rotating harpoons, and more.
