Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringsstar Simu Liu is living it up. The former stock photo model has come a long way, now starring in what is currently the biggest movie in the world. However, that doesn’t mean he’s unlike many gamers who enjoy playing someHalo, as the star calls his Xbox controller one of his essential gadgets.

As part of his ongoing press tour topromoteShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Liu sat down with GQ for one of their “10 Things You Can’t Live Without” clips to discuss exactly what items he uses the most on a day-to-day basis. In it, theMarvel Studiosstar goes over several of his hobbies like playing basketball, his fashion choices, and surely much to Microsoft’s satisfaction, his love for the Xbox brand.

The specific controller Liu owns is the newer Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 in all black, although maybe the actor could be tempted to spring for a newHalo Infinitespecial edition controller, given Halo is one of the games he claims to have fallen for when he was only 14. Like millions of people, Liu played countless hours ofXbox split-screen multiplayer inHalo, Hang ‘em High pistols only, which is still one of the franchises that he still plays to this day, alongsideCall of Duty.

NBA 2Kis one of the other game franchises that makes his favorites list, as Liu loves basketball so much that he can’t bear not having a ball around. Though he considers himself a decent player, at age 32 he’s pretty much given up on his NBA dreams. Unfortunately, Liu didn’t say whether he owns one of the special editionShang-ChiXbox Series X consoles.

Throughout the rest of the interview, Liu shares some great Asian snack recommendations like Pocky biscuits, Japanese rice crackers, shredded squid, shrimp crackers, White Rabbit candy, and even the lemon tea that’s unbelievably part of the reasons whyShang-Chimight still get banned in China. Also, for anyone loving whatShang-Chi’sfast-paced action brings to the MCU, let it be known that the actor kept the Nike Jordan Access shoes that he’s wearing in the movie’s epic bus fight scene.

Liu’s other essentials include stylish sunglasses, sweet bubble tea, expensive watches, a Theragun massager, a comfy hoodie withColin Kaepernick’s number, and a copy of the manuscript he’s working on. However, according to Liu, nothing beats the “Lamborghini of controllers,” even if there are reasons not to like the Xbox Elite controller.
