9The 100 Baby Challenge
An absolute staple of theSimsfranchise, this challenge has been a mainstay since the early days. While this challenge can be very intimidating to new players, it’s the perfect challenge for a seasoned Simmer to try their hand at. This challenge takes a lot of persistence but is ultimately worth it in the end.
Start with a Sim who can get pregnant and romance someone in the world,get pregnant with their baby(or, hopefully, babies) and then move on to another parent. To make this extra challenging, players can attempt to get 3-5 in all toddler skills, and get the best grades for their children and teens. The founder cannot get a job and must make money through other means; the most popular being painting and writing.
Players can choose to stick with the same Sims for all 100 babies or pass the challenge down to one of their children. Simmers will also find it especially useful to get the ‘Fertile’ trait using Satisfaction Points and use the ‘On Ley Line’ Lot Trait to ensure the chance of multiple babies per pregnancy.
8All Deaths Challenge
Slowly but surely kill off Sims using every single death in the game. The actual number can vary depending on how many packs you have, but there are loads of interesting ways to kill Sims inThe Sims 4. Attempting to get all possible deaths in a single save file will be an interesting and amusing challenge for the average Simmer and may even provide some inspiration for how to kill off Sims in other games.

Looking up what deaths are available in the game, and keeping a note of them, will be a useful resource as players make their way through this mildly macabre challenge.
7Random Legacy Challenge
Putting a nice twist on theregular legacy challenges, this will see Simmers leave every vital part of their Sims' lives up to chance. Randomize traits, lifetime aspiration, career, partners and even their names. This is a perfect melting pot for the kind of chaos that can ensue in aSimsgame and is sure to both infuriate and fascinate players.
For a little extra spice, players can even choose to randomize how their Sim dies.
6Rags-To-Riches Challenge
A mainstay ofThe Simsfranchise, this challenge encourages players to take a break from the usual 9-5 grind and find another way to make money. From gardening to foraging to fishing, the rags-to-riches challenge takes Simmers out of their comfort zone and puts a fun twist on the beloved game.
To make this more exciting, and to make a rags-to-riches game last, Simmers can opt to make this a legacy challenge. Instead of starting a new generation with all the wealth of the last, start all over again once the Sim reaches young adulthood, on an empty lot, with nothing to your name.

Another twist on this challenge is to do the Runaway Teen challenge. Since the update allowing teens to live without an adult in the household, these teen-focused challenges have become more popular. Balance life and school as they try to make ends meet and eventually build a life for themselves.
5Big Brother Challenge
Very different from the usual challenges inThe Sims 4, this invites Simmers to not worry about the money-making or family building and instead focus on socializing from the comfort of a glorious mansion. With the compatibilityfeature from Growing Together, it will be more fun than ever to create, or find, Sims with personalities that clash and create drama in the household.
At the end of an in-game week, players will look at all the relationships between the contestants and evict whoever has the lowest relationship scores with the other members of the house.
4Asylum Challenge
At its heart, this challenge is all about healing and reform. Fill a household with Erratic Sims (leaving room for an orderly, if so desired) and give them all different Lifetime Aspirations. Choose one of the Sims and play with only that Sim until you complete their Lifetime Aspiration, after which they’ll be allowed to leave the asylum.

The goal at the end of the challenge is to have an entirely empty asylum, with all the previous residents reformed and moved out. Players can continue this challenge by making more Sims and starting over.
3Black Widow Challenge
Simmers love having affairs and murdering… InThe Sims, of course! This challenge is all aboutfinding a rich suitor, marrying them, so you’re able to take all their money and then moving on. It’s just such a shame their spouse had to die in such an awful, tragic accident.
The founder of the challenge cannot have a job and must make ends meet through other means before they manage to persuade someone to marry them. This challenge has been around about as long asThe Simshas, so there are plenty of variations of this challenge for players to try.
2Dumpster Challenge
Dumpsters are an itemthat came with Eco Lifestyle, an Expansion Pack forThe Sims 4. Players can use these to dumpster dive, and can find a variety of treasures as a result. From food to broken furniture, and even Simoleons, there’s just a whole world waiting to be explored in those stinky dumpsters.
The objective of this challenge is to survive solely on the things the Sim finds while dumpster diving. That includes eating food from the garbage and repairing busted-up furniture, so the Sim can eventually build the home of their dreams.
1Off-The-Grid Challenge
Eco Lifestyle came with a myriad of things to spice up regular gameplay. One of the ways players can do this is by moving a Sim onto alot with the ‘Off-The-Grid’ Lot Trait. This prohibits certain items from working and poses a challenge to the player to work around those issues, so their Sim can still live a fulfilling life.
Players could also choose to turn this into somewhat of a rags-to-riches challenge by not allowing their Sim to have a job and instead make money through other means, like farming, fishing or painting.
There are a ton of challenges out there for the seasoned Simmer, each posing unique and interesting factors to work around in order to achieve certain objectives. These challenges suit different play-styles and are perfect for the Simmer looking to branch out of their comfort zone and try something new.
