Due to leaks and rumors, fans are worried the game might be a games-as-service title focused on battle pass monetization and game design focused solely on replaying the same missions or areas. That being said, narrative cinematics have been promising, and the game is looking to deliver an over-the-top chaoticSuicide Squadtale, featuring the last video game performance of the lateKevin Conroy, who served as the voice of Batmanfor generations of comic book fans.
8Killer Croc
ThoughSuicide Squad: Kill The Justice Leaguewill likely have its serious momentsduring the campaign, it’s safe to assume that it’ll feature plenty of comedic beats. With King Shark being one of the four playable characters at launch, the idea of playing with the fact that he’s a living animalistic killing machine will be toyed with.
That’s where a Killer Croc cameo makes so much sense, as the sewer-dwelling Batman villain is one of the few people on the planet that can relate to King Shark in a meaningful way. Having the two engage in conversation as maybe King Shark is also pleading with his teammates to take it easy on Killer Croc would likely be paired with an ultra-violent and heartbreaking moment of realization for him.
7Bane
When it comes to adapting comic book characters to the world of video games, there are some villains who translate a lot easier to the medium than others. In order for players to face tough threats in a game as over-the-top asSuicide Squad: Kill The Justice Leaguewill be, they need to possess thepotential of someone like Bane. He can pump himself with power to a point where he becomes an unstoppable force.
A scene in which the Suicide Squad bumps into Bane and it slowly shifts into a standoff as a result of something dumb being said by Captain Boomerang just feels right. The entire fight could see Deadshot and Harley Quinn shouting at Captain Boomerang for being an idiot all while King Shark is lost on what happened and why Bane was offended.
6The Joker
It seems that the Joker is a must-have in any major DC Comics project as he has ascended to be one of the property’s most popular characters. DespiteSuicide Squad: Kill The Justice Leaguebeing developed by Rocksteady Games it’s been confirmed that the game takes place in its own universe. This means that the events ofthe Arkham trilogyhave no bearing on who could possibly show up in this game.

With Brainiac serving as the game’s main antagonist, it’s unclear where someone like Joker would fit in, but it isn’t too farfetched to assume he could play the role of helpful villain. The whole “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” trope could lead toward the Clown Prince of Gotham aiding the Suicide Squad in hopes of getting Batman back to normal so they could continue their never-ending back-and-forth.
5Koko
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice Leaguehas committed to Brainiac serving as the main villain in the game, and it’s the sole reason why the Justice League members are acting out of character. These iconic superheroes will undoubtedly serve as major boss fights in the game, but that doesn’t mean Brainiac won’t have a few surprises up his sleeve.
Over the course of his comic history, he’s had many followers and those serving under his rule. One such entity serving in this role is a hyper-intelligent space monkey called Koko. Depending on its appearance it has varied in size and capability. It feels like the whacky type of beast the Suicide Squad could run into by accident and have to deal with.
4Lobo
Lobo isn’t exactly a character that has had a close affiliation with the Suicide Squad. He’s an intergalactic bounty hunter that rides a space motorcycle all in the name of causing violence. He’s over-the-top in both the way he talks and his actions, which feels like the type of character perfectly made to cameo in aSuicide Squadstory.
He could simply land on Earth looking for somebody specific and comes across the Suicide Squad and asks for information regarding his target. That alone could serve as a colorful scene of the entire crew arguing about what they should tell this random dude on a motorcycle and if he’s a threat or not.
3Starro
The Suicide Squadmovie by James Gunn managed to bring the group back into a positive space and has fans excited for what the director has in store for the future of the DC cinematic universe. Starro served as the main villain of that movie and showcased what a major alien threat could do in terms of shaking the confidence of a team like the Suicide Squad.

Sure, the giant starfish wouldn’t be a major villain inSuicide Squad: Kill The Justice League,but having it appear in a cameo as an homage to the movie would be a fun nod. This could happen with either a physical appearance or maybe a voice line or easter egg object calling attention to an appearance of Starro.
2Teen Titans
Fans of DC Comics have been clamoring for more meaningfuladaptations of theTeen Titansin the gaming space, and though most would opt for a AAA game focus solely on them, a cameo inSuicide Squad: Kill The Justice Leaguewould be a welcome surprise. With the Teen Titans being so youthful and naive a chance encounter with the Suicide Squad could serve as an uncomfortable dose of reality.
Then again they’d also be caught up in a situation where all of their mentors and inspirations are serving as puppets for Brainiac. Would Rocksteady be bold enough to have the ragtag Suicide Squad go as far as to kill a member of the young group of heroes? Who knows.
1The Lantern Corps
With John Stewart’s Green Lantern appearing in one of the firstSuicide Squad: Kill The Justice Leaguetrailers, it’s safe to assume that he might not be the only Lantern to appear in the game. Nailing down which specific Lantern could cameo is an impossible task, as there are so many creative and inspired choices that could be made on that front.
They could go with more well-known Lanterns like Sinestro or Atrocitus or could dive deep into weirder Lanterns like the living planet named Mogo. The Lantern Corps in general is such a weird concept that it feels like the type of subject matter prime for comedic conversations between the members of the Suicide Squad.
